The Society for Marketing Professionals Services (SMPS) is grateful for the enthusiastic response to our invitation for members to serve in volunteer leadership roles. The Nominations and Elections Committee thoroughly reviewed all the qualified applications and is pleased to present the slate of officers, directors, and trustees for the forthcoming fiscal year.
In accordance with the SMPS bylaws, the following candidates have been appointed by the Nominations and Elections Committee to fill three open positions on the 2018–19 SMPS board of directors:
- President-Elect: Melissa Lutz, FSMPS, CPSM, Principal, Champlin Architecture, Cincinnati, OH (Term: September 1, 2018, to August 31, 2019)
- At-Large Director: Elizabeth M. Harris, FSMPS, CPSM, Vice President, United Consulting, Norcross, GA (Term: September 1, 2018, to August 31, 2020)
- At-Large Director: Catherine McCullough, CPSM, President/CEO, McCullough Landscape Architecture Inc., San Diego, CA (Term: September 1, 2018, to August 31, 2020)
Four current directors will continue serving on the SMPS board in 2018–19 in the following positions:

- At-Large Director: Stacy Stout, FSMPS, CPSM, Principal, BRANDiac Strategies, Centennial, CO (Term: September 1, 2017, to August 31, 2019)

The Nominations and Elections Committee also recommended and the SMPS board approved the following SMPS Foundation member trustee in 2018–2019:
