AEC.AI™ Workshop Facilitator | Christopher S. Penn (he/him)

Christopher S. Penn is an authority on analytics, digital marketing, marketing technology, data science, and machine learning. A recognized thought leader, best-selling author, and internationally renowned keynote speaker, he has shaped five key fields in the marketing industry: Google Analytics adoption, data-driven marketing and PR, modern email marketing, marketing data science, and artificial intelligence/machine learning in marketing. As co-founder and Chief Data Scientist of Trust Insights, he is responsible for the creation of products and services, creation and maintenance of all code and intellectual property, technology and marketing strategy, brand awareness, and research & development.

Mr. Penn is a 2022, five-time IBM Champion in IBM Data and AI, a Brand24 Top 100 Digital Marketer, an Onalytica Top 100 AI in Marketing influencer, and co-host of the award-winning Marketing Over Coffee marketing podcast. Carrie Mahon is a seasoned marketing executive with over 20 years of experience in the B2B technology sector, currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer at Unanet for the past four and a half years. Her career includes a 14-year tenure at IBM, where she held global marketing roles focused on market intelligence and analytics, product and pricing strategy, and the go-to-market strategy for the Big Data software portfolio. She also held senior marketing positions at Comcast Business, Windstream, and EMS Software. In these roles, she has developed a broad skill set that encompasses AI integration, analytics, branding, content strategy, PR/media, demand generation, product marketing, event/tradeshow management, marketing operations, and strategic planning. Carrie holds an MA in Quantitative Research from Columbia University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Rochester. Her solid foundation in quantitative research and statistics, further enriched by her strategic roles in market intelligence and analytics at IBM, lays the groundwork for her appreciation of both AI and the role of data analysis and evidence-based strategies in driving marketing innovation.
