About the SMPS Business Developer of the Year award
The Business Developer of the Year award recognizes SMPS members who have demonstrated significant and measurable accomplishments in their role as business developer at their firm at various levels of experience. Nominees must demonstrate significant and measurable accomplishments both procuring and retaining clients in their role as business developer at their firm. This recognition will showcase the vital role of business developers within the A/E/C industries.

- Rising Business Developer Of The Year (2-5 years’ experience)
- Impact Business Developer Of The Year (6-10 years’ experience)
- Catalyst Business Developer Of The Year (11+ years’ experience)
The recipient(s) will be announced and honored at Amplify A|E|C, the Society’s annual conference, which will be held from July 24-26 in Salt Lake City. One recipient from each level of business development experience will receive an engraved award and one discounted registration for Amplify A|E|C. Recipients will be recognized based on the number of submissions received and the years of BD experience (2-5 years’ experience; 6-10 years’ experience; or 11+ years).
