Alexandria, VA— (September 23, 2021) — The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is pleased to announce that Nandi Rice has joined the Society as director, marketing. Nandi will be responsible for leading the marketing strategies, messaging, and materials to promote SMPS and the SMPS Foundation. She will be working remotely from Charlotte, NC, and will report directly to Chief Strategy Officer Marci Thompson.
Nandi comes to SMPS with over a decade of experience in marketing with roles in the association and for-profit sectors. Most recently she served as the senior marketing manager for Sur-Ryl Marketing, where she developed and led marketing strategies for mid-sized non-profits and small businesses. Prior to her work with Sur-Ryl Marketing, Nandi worked for Informa, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, and ASAE.
Nandi will focus on implementing organized and integrated marketing plans that support the SMPS strategic direction, DEI initiatives, mission, and vision.
She holds a master’s degree in Public Communication from American University and a dual bachelor’s degree in Communications and American Studies from SUNY College at Old Westbury.
