Supporting Career Advancement in AEC
The SMPS Certification Committee plays an advisory role in promoting the CPSM certification program, enhancing the profession’s credibility through certification, and demonstrating the value of the designation for career advancement.
Purpose
The SMPS Certification Committee serves in an advisory capacity to build awareness of the program, establish credibility of the profession through certification, communicate the value of the CPSM designation as it supports career advancement, and participate in exam application and appeal reviews as necessary.
Goal
The committee focuses on promoting the CPSM designation, developing content for CPSM-specific programming, and engaging in outreach to SMPS chapters to support certification efforts.
