Txt2Give, Research Topics, and Your Support

Build Business 2017 was a huge accomplishment in many ways, especially for the SMPS Foundation. There, I had the opportunity to enlighten SMPS members regarding the purpose of the foundation, specifically how we research topics, identify a third-party researcher, fundraise, and deliver research to our members and the A/E/C industries. I also introduced our new Txt2Give program with great success. I’m happy to report we raised thousands of dollars at the annual conference. But we still need your support to bring you the best in industry research—and we’d love to reach our goal before the fiscal year ends on August 31.

If you haven’t heard, Txt2Give is a platform that allows you to text a donation and, at the same time, vote for the next research topic. We’ve made great strides but still need your input on identifying the next research topic as well as donations to commission this research.

You can vote for the following proposed research topics:

Topic #1: Artificial Intelligence in the A/E/C Industries: Understanding the latest developments in the use of artificial intelligence in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries.

Topic #2: Exploring Client Decision-Making Behavior: Understanding the neuroscience behind decision-making and how it can be applied to marketing and business development.

Topic #3: Artificial Intelligence in Marketing and Business Development: Understanding the latest developments in the use of artificial intelligence in marketing and business development-related professions.

To participate, text “Give 25” (as in $25 but you can enter another amount) to 703-991-6181 and follow the prompts. You do not need to include the $ character.

Thank you for your input and your donations. You are an integral part of the SMPS Foundation’s success.
