The SMPS 2016–17 Year in Review


Just released, the SMPS Year in Review provides a breakdown of growth and achievements, as well as programs initiated within the 2016–17 fiscal year. The infographic includes a membership snapshot, statistics on professional development, and alliances that have helped to advance professional services marketing within the A/E/C industries. For easy printing, the Year in Review is also available as a booklet.

SMPS accomplished numerous objectives to better serve members and help validate the practice of marketing and business development within professional services. During this period, more than 40,000 people attended programs organized by SMPS headquarters and chapters. The Society also developed select programming for senior-level marketing professionals and launched the development of its newest chapter, SMPS Rio Grande Valley.

“Year after year, SMPS continues to grow in influence and value to our members and the A/E/C industries,” states SMPS Chief Executive Officer Michael V. Geary, CAE. “We are proud of our successes for the past fiscal year, and grateful for the continued involvement of our members, volunteer leaders, and other stakeholders.
