SMPS Awards SMPS Greater Cincinnati as the 2019 Striving for Excellence Grand-Prize Winning ChapterAlexandria, VA (August 7, 2019)The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is pleased to announce that SMPS Greater Cincinnati has been recognized as the 2019 Striving for Excellence Grand-Prize Winning Chapter. The chapter was honored at Build Business 2019, the SMPS annual conference, during the “R.I.S.E Luncheon” on Thursday, August 1, in Washington, D.C.

The chapter most notably has sustained a membership retention rate of 88 percent, increased their new member rate by 14 percent, showed dedication to their community and the SMPS Foundation by donating more than $7,000 to charities, and reached their education goals with over 50 attendees as the average attendance rate for their monthly programming.

Jennifer Danforth, CPSM, past president of SMPS Greater Cincinnati, said, “None of the chapter’s remarkable achievements would happen without the dedication and hard work of our board and members. Our members volunteer to serve on committees and the board and work tirelessly to promote, plan, and execute meaningful chapter events and programming. We are honored and humbled to not only be recognized by our peers as an outstanding chapter but as the SFE Grand Prize winner.”
