Frequently Asked Questions

We want to make sure that you’re prepared for this year’s virtual symposium experience, so we've created the FAQs below.

Q: How do I virtually access this year’s Pinnacle+ symposium?

A: Attendees can simply download the Whova mobile app, search under “Find My Event” for “SMPS/Pinnacle+” on Google Play: or in the App Store: and make sure you use the login credentials given to you to access the symposium starting Wednesday, September 16. Or, they can log in through the desktop version here:

Q: If I want to meet up and network with other attendees during the virtual symposium, where can I do that in the platform?

A: We’ve made it easy and accessible; there are chat and community sections within the desktop version and mobile app for attendees to meet, connect, and interact in Whova.

  • Make sure you update your profile when you log in to the desktop version or download the app or access to access the virtual symposium. Log in to your event account and go to the “Community” section on the left-hand side of the menu. You’ll see “Meet-Ups,” “Discussion Topics,” and “Social Gatherings,” where you can start interacting and networking with other attendees. The “Community” section is where everything social occurs.

Q: How many sessions are there this year?

A: We have a total of eight sessions that are split between two days (four per day). This was done intentionally because we know our senior marketers, business developers, and firm owners have tight schedules but would still like to access the great content and sessions. Attendees will be able to earn 8 CPSM CEUs from attending this year’s Pinnacle+ symposium if you participate in all of the sessions during the two-day live event. Attendees will also be able to get CEUs if they watch the recorded videos after they are completed live.

Q: I’ve registered for Pinnacle+, but now I can’t make it. Will the sessions be recorded and available to watch on-demand after the live symposium?

A: Yes, SMPS will provide all attendees with additional ways to view and access the sessions if you’re unable to join live but have registered for the event. The platform will be open 60 days after the session has ended through Tuesday, November 17. We encourage all attendees to take advantage of re-watching the recorded sessions that will be made available to all 2020 registrants after the live event concludes.

Q: Will I be able to ask the presenters questions in real-time?

A: Yes, there’s a Q&A section where attendees can submit questions to the presenters in real-time. The SMPS Events Team will collect each of the questions for the speakers who will address them as time permits towards the end of the session (unless a speaker has specifically requested to have questions asked in the middle of their session).
