Kathleen Held is the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Cini•Little International, Inc., a multidisciplinary consulting firm offering foodservice, laundry and solid waste consulting services to the A/E/C industry. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Kathleen oversees the business development and marketing for the firm’s 13 worldwide offices. She develops strategic marketing programs, strengthening Cini-Little’s position in the global marketplace. Kathleen directs a team of marketing coordinators to manage the firm’s public relations through varied social media channels and has developed content marketing campaigns to communicate the firm’s vast knowledge in many services and market segments. Her team collaborates with the firm’s project managers to develop targeted proposals and presentation materials.
Kathleen is a Certified Professional Services Marketer. She is an Associate Member of Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI). She is a respected member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, having held varied positions at the national, regional and local level. Kathleen received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Frostburg State University.

Susan Merrigan, FSMPS, CPSM, is the Senior Marketing Manager for SOM’s Washington DC office and directs its marketing and business development initiatives, with a focus on large federal pursuits. She has 20 years of experience leading a wide spectrum of marketing initiatives for global design firms such as SOM, Perkins+Will, Stantec, Leo A. Daly and AECOM. Susan has a long history serving SMPS at the local and national level. Currently, she is the Fellows Chapter Champion for Washington DC. She is also a Past Washington DC Chapter President, Past National Marketing Communications Award Chair and Past National Striving for Excellence Chair. She has given several SMPS Webinars including the Prepare to Win: Marketing Essentials series and Secrets to the Subconsultant Selection Process. Susan earned her CPSM in 2005 and was honored as a Fellow in 2012. She received an MBA from the University of Florida, Masters in Communication from American University, and Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Law, Economics, and Government from American University.
