Concern for those Impacted by Hurricane Helene

Earlier this week, Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida as a Category 4 hurricane causing destruction across the southeastern U.S. and southern Appalachia. The storm brought heavy wind and rain and caused record breaking destruction. More than 2 million residents, some which include SMPS members, have been without power and sufficient roads to travel on, which is especially difficult.

SMPS HQ staff and board of directors send their heartfelt wishes and thoughts to those who have been affected by the hurricane. We are with you during this difficult time and hope that you and your family, friends, and loved ones are safe. If there’s anything we can do, please reach out to SMPS at membership@smps.org.
