Earlier this week, Hurricane Beryl made landfall in Texas, causing significant damage and flooding in Houston, as well as other parts of Texas. The storm brought heavy wind and rain, which has led to downed trees and power lines. Millions of residents, some which include SMPS members, have been without power, which is especially difficult as the heat index continues to climb.
SMPS HQ staff and board of directors send their heartfelt wishes and thoughts to those who have been affected by the hurricane. We are with you during this difficult time and hope that you and your family, friends, and loved ones are safe. If there’s anything we can do, please reach out to SMPS at membership@smps.org.
