July 30–August 1, Build Business will bring together 800+ clients, content experts, principals, business developers, and marketers in beautiful San Antonio to learn from and challenge one another to think differently about business. As a participant, you will experience your choice of never-before-seen breakout sessions, provocative keynote speakers, and plenty of networking to make priceless business contacts. Over the course of these two-and-a-half days, you will:
1. Gain information to truly differentiate your firm from the competition.
You will be exposed to cutting-edge research, best practices, benchmarks, and marketing and business development ideas—information not available anywhere else—to position your firm more solidly in your markets.
2. Identify partnering opportunities, and strengthen relationships you already have.
SMPS is the only organization dedicated to creating business opportunities in the A/E/C industry. The conference will give you a chance to build critical relationships and access the connections among the 800+ leaders expected to attend from around the country.

Educational activities during Build Business are approved for continuing education units (CEUs) for SMPS's Certified Professional Services Marketer Program. In addition, the program should meet criteria set forth by other professional societies and state licensure boards for continuing education requirements, including learning units from the American Institute of Architects.
More information about the number of CEUs you can earn by participating in Build Business 2014 will be posted after the educational program is finalized.
Status of Session Proposals
The Conference Planning Committee will meet at the end of October to finalize the educational program. In November, all proposers will be notified about the status of their proposals. Programs that are not slated may be recommended to programs committees for SMPS regional conferences and chapters. Thank you for proposing a session!
