Foundation Research Workshop

In 2017, SMPS members chose the next research topic, Exploring Client Decision-Making Behavior, to be developed by the SMPS Foundation.

We’ve moved forward with this topic, and we’re currently working to develop a more robust and scientifically-informed understanding of it. To decide which part of the research is most relevant to our members and their firms, the SMPS Foundation is holding a day-long workshop in Chicago on Thursday, May 17, with industry professionals.

Throughout the day and as part of the agenda, facilitator JonRobert Tartaglione, founder and CEO of Influence 51, will lead participants through brainstorming sessions and concept and content development. Following the workshop, Tartaglione will fine-tune his research and create the SMPS Foundation report.

By participating, you’ll have the opportunity to explore how the study of client behavior gives your firm a competitive advantage, and you’ll also receive an advance copy of the report.  This workshop is approved for 3 CEUs for the Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) program and 3 LUs from the American Institute of Architects.
