How Can SMPS Help You in Your Job Search?
The following items are available to SMPS Members as a benefit of your

Access the 7,000 members of your SMPS network to learn about career
opportunities, identify mentors, and seek recommendations and advice
from your peers. This network is your greatest resource for career
advancement.

Certification
Pursue certification. Join a local study group and prepare to sit for
the exam. Companies recognize the Certified Professional Services
Marketer designation as a valuable differentiator when evaluating

*Chapter
--Volunteer at your local SMPS chapter to build relationships,
demonstrate your expertise, get your name out in the network, hear about
job opportunities, and expand your leadership skills.
--Talk to the leaders of your chapter to learn more about the
business climate in your area.
Nonmembers are welcome and encouraged to attend chapter programs and
events.

Speakers' Bureau
If you are interested in speaking at chapter and industry events to
increase your exposure, create a speaker profile with SMPS. The
Speakers' Bureau is promoted to the SMPS chapters leaders and regional
conference planning committees as a resource for identifying speakers
for their events.

Placement Services
Several SMPS members offer career counseling and placement services
in the A/E/C industry. To learn more about their services, log in to our
