Dear SMPS Member:        

As a marketing and business development professional in the A/E/C industry, you rely on up-to-date research and resources to be successful in your job. The SMPS Foundation exists to identify and research hot trends and topics in A/E/C marketing and business development and then to inform SMPS members of its findings and recommendations.

The SMPS Foundation can help you keep up with evolving industry practices, elevate the professionalism of your work, advance your career, and build business for your firm. To find out more about the Foundation and to access research studies, visit the other Foundation pages of this Web site.  

Projects completed this past year to support SMPS members include:

•  Six research-based White Papers (19 produced in the last three years!) on topics including social networking for competitive advantage, marketing ethics, client satisfaction, integrated project delivery, international expansion, and Baby Boomers in the A/E/C workforce
•  2009 Marketing Salary and Expense Survey
•  Spring 2009 and Fall 2009 Think Tank programs
•  Completion of the Marketing Handbook for the Design and Construction Professional, Third Edition
•  Annual scholarship award

We’re now planning for six more  research-based white papers, the next Think Tank program, and the annual scholarship award, and we need your support.

The Foundation relies entirely on contributions from SMPS members, their firms, and SMPS Chapters to fund its important research and publications each year. All donations to the Foundation are fully tax deductible as charitable contributions. We ask you to give generously so we are able to complete the important projects planned for the coming year in support of the profession and the industry.

Suggested levels of support may be found on the Donor Support Form, but contributions in any amount are encouraged and appreciated. All donors, individual and corporate, will be publicly acknowledged.
