Call for Volunteers

Do you want to make a difference? Have you been a leader within your chapter? Are you ready to become a national leader?

If you answered “yes” to these questions, then SMPS NATIONAL WANTS YOU!

We are seeking SMPS members who have served as leaders within their chapters AND are ready to lend their experience and insight on the national level. This is a great opportunity to serve your society and to make a difference with the profession.

Openings for the 2010-11 program year may be available on the following national committees:

• Business Development Institute Committee
• Certification
• Chapter President of the Year
• Striving for Excellence (Chapter Awards Program)

Qualifications to serve on a national committee are:

• five years of SMPS membership
• two years of experience serving on a chapter board of directors
• if seeking to serve as a National Committee Chair, the individual cannot be committed to serve as a chapter leader during the year they serve as chair
